Our guests who live in our shelter are the success behind our ability to provide emergency food to over 8,000 hungry people each month! As we give a hand-up to homeless men, they in return give back to the community by feeding multitudes of needy people.

What to Expect

Welcome to our new blog! We hope you'll check in regularly, and we're confident the posts you'll find will encompass a wide variety of activities and initiate a broad range of emotions. As you connect with us, you'll find yourself experiencing laughter, amazement, as well as being touched by what's taking place in this facility. You'll experience interesting encounters, stories of needs met and problems solved, announcements of needed provisions or upcoming events, as well as the regular challenges and frustrations. The posts will originate from a variety of staff here at the outreach. You'll hear from executive directors, men's shelter and recovery program directors, chaplains, and food bank managers, each serving full-time on a volunteer basis, and bringing their own stories and perspective.
